Note: If plants are being grown indoors by a window, it is suggested that you ‘turn’ the plants every couple of weeks so that both sides receive the same amount of sunlight. This is easily done because of the ‘rolling casters’ on the bottom of the box.

In addition, it is suggested that the plants receive 8 – 10 hours a day of filtered light (from a window), or 6 – 8 hours of direct sunlight in a greenhouse type environment. This recommendation varies from one part of the country or world to another, so you should check with your local Extension Agent for the most accurate recommendations for your area.
